Addison Rae, a famous young Tik Tok famous star is known to many across the world. Within a short period, she has successfully managed to garner a lot of attention and fame all by the age of 19. The star has done a music video and now a movie that is about to be streamed on a big OTT platform such as Netflix too. The trailer of the movie, He’s All That which is a reimagined version of the original plot of the 1999 teen classic She’s All That got released today (August 5). And Twitter and Youtube do not know how to feel about it.
There’s mixed reactions to the trailer and about Addison Ray appearing in films. Few have been ‘forgiving’ her acting glitches stating that since this is her first movie, this is forgivable and decent but not the best. People even said that the filmmakers could have cast someone else instead of Addison Rae but that they were expecting worse and this is slightly better.
The other interesting thing to note is that one of the writers of the movie is one of the most loved sitcoms, FRIENDS and the movie is helmed by Mark Waters who is famous for his movie Mean Girls. So some people have high expectations.
From the trailer, it seems like the entire plotline of the story has been spilt connecting all the dots of what it is to expect and people are not happy with the whole spoiler situation. A comment from Youtube said, “So they spent millions of dollars remaking a movie with the same plot and gave us a trailer that sums up the entire movie in under three minutes. Well, that was money well spent.”
Some even went on to say that the trailer looks like a Disney Channel Movie.
There are celebrities who reacted to the trailer as well and it is not looking good. British model and actor, Jameela Jamil said that Addison’s He’s All That movie looks “This looks objectively F--king Terrible.”
On the other hand, of course, people are waiting for the movie to be released as Miss Rae enjoys a super fandom across the globe.
