Dulquer Salmaan’s Hey Sinamika is grabbing the attention of the fans with each reveal and promotion. The latest from the movie is a short promo video for a song from the movie titled Thozhi.
The promotional video was shared by the makers of the movie and Salmaan on their social media handles. Posting the video on Instagram, the star also confirmed that the full song video, which is written by Madhan Karky and composed by Govind Vasantha, will be released on January 27 at 6 pm.
The promo video hints at a song that will capture the hearts of the listeners with its soft melody. The short video also features Salmaan and Kajal Aggarwal laughing and enjoying each other's company under an umbrella on a rainy day.
The first song from the movie, titled Achamillai, was released last week by the makers. The song was a bold and fast rap song, which was sung by the actor. With him singing about societal pressure, the song marked the actor's first Tamil song as a singer.
Hey Sinamika is a romantic comedy directed by National Award-winning dance choreographer Brinda. Also starring Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari, the movie will see Salmaan play the role of a young man named Yaazhan.
The movie, which has had issues with a release date due to the ongoing pandemic, is now slated for a theatrical release on February 25, 2022.
Salmaan was last seen in the crime thriller Kurup, which had a successful run in the theaters, followed by its release on Netflix. The actor will also be seen in a Malayalam cop drama Salute. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the release of the film has also been postponed due to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases.
