Hi Nanna is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema this year. Featuring Nani and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, the film is up for release on December 7, 2023. The songs have caught on quite well and the family drama will be released on a wide number of screens in Telugu states.
The pre-release business has also been done at a very high rate and we bring you exclusive info on the area-wise figures of the film. The theatrical rights of Hi Nanna have been sold for Rs 9 crore in the Nizam(Telangana) area. While the Guntur rights have been sold for Rs 2 crore, the rights of Krishna have fetched Rs 1.5 crore.
On the other hand, the East and West Godavari rights have been sold for Rs 3 crore and the ceded rights were also sold for Rs 3 crore. The Vizg rights have fetched an impressive Rs 3 crore and Nellore rights have fetched Rs 1 crore.
The overseas rights of the film were sold for Rs 6 crore and the rest of India's rights went for Rs 2 crore. So, for Hi Nanna to be in a safe zone, the film has to cross the coveted Rs 30 crore mark. The family drama needs a positive word of mouth from day one of its release.
Animal is releasing on December 1, 2023, and Hi Nanna is coming exactly a week after that. So, the Nani starrer has massive competition for Animal and we need to see how Hi Nanna will fare at the box office. Shouryuv directs the film which has hit music by Hesham Abdula Wahab.
