Hi Nanna on OTT: This popular platform bags the digital rights of the Nani-Mrunal Thakur starrer

Hi Nanna is one of the most anticipated films in Telugu cinema, as it has Nani in the lead role playing an emotional character of a single father for the first time in his career. Debutante Shouruv has directed this film, which was released today with decent word of mouth.

The most recent news is that Netflix has acquired the digital rights to the movie. The news is also that Netflix has spent a whopping Rs 37 crore to bag the OTT rights to Hi Nanna in all the languages of its release.

Hi Nanna will be out on OTT in the second week of January 2024, as per the news. Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead in this film, which also has Shruthi Haasan in a key role. 

Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed the film's music and a few songs have become raging hits and have given the film a good push ahead of its release. All the songs in the film have been huge hits.

Mrunal's performance, in particular, has been praised for her stellar performance in the film. Hi Nanna is about a single father who falls in love with his all over again after she leaves him after an accident.

The basic verdict of the critics in Telugu is that the family drama has a slow pace but is narrated on a sensible note. Angad Bedi makes his Telugu debut with this film and Nasser was also seen in a key role along with Nasser. For now, Netflix has grabbed the digital rights and has landed the makers in hefty profits.
