Hi, the upcoming Tamil film stars actors Kavin and Nayanthara in the lead roles, debuted its first look a day back. Starring the actors in their first collaboration, the posters gave a feel-good romantic entertainer expectations from the film. Actor Kavin, last seen in Kiss, and Nayanthara are teaming up for the upcoming film titled Hi. The film is written and directed by lyricist turned filmmaker Vishnu Edavan. The latest update on Hi is that the post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by ZEE5. After finishing its theatrical run, Hi will stream on ZEE5, via OTTplay Premium.

The release date of Hi is yet to be fixed by the makers. Apart from the lead pair, the film also stars K Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Radhika, Satyan, Adithya Kathir, Qureshi, and several others in important roles. The film marks the debut of Vishnu Edavan, who has previously worked as an associate director to Lokesh Kanagaraj on films like Kaithi, Master, and Vikram.

What is Hi?

As per Vishnu Edavan, Hi is a wholesome family entertainer with a love story. The shooting for Hi is taking place currently in and around Chennai. With about 20 days of filming completed, the filming will continue in the coming weeks. The movie will feature a total of seven songs, two of which have already been completely shot.

With Nayanthara and Kavin sharing screen space for the first time, expectations for Hi are running high. Hi is shot by cinematographer Rajesh Shukla and edited by Philomin Raj. Jen Martin, who has worked in Kavin's Kiss and Bloody Beggar, is scoring music for Hi.
