High Court's order shocks Chiranjeevi in regards to illegal construction in Hyderabad

Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the top stars in the country and naturally makes big money from all his films. He lives in the plush area of Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad and owns other lands in the same area. A few days back, he was in the news when a person named J Srikanth Babu had approached the high court regarding a land litigation issue.

Going into details, Chiranjeevi recently bought a land of 595 square yards in the plush area of Jubilee Hills housing society. The twist here is that this land was meant for public use and the cooperative society had sold it to the star illegally. So, J Srikanth Babu approached the high court which had announced its verdict today.

In a sad piece of news, the high court has ordered Chiranjeevi to stop construction on this site right away until further notice. This is a setback for Chiranjeevi as he has already invested big money on the construction and made big plans for the future. As per the news, the court ordered the Jubilee Hills housing society and the GHMC to file the counter in the case. The next hearing has been posted to April 25, 2023.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is busy with the shooting of his new film Bholaa Shankar that is being directed by Meher Ramesh. The family drama is the official remake of the Ajith Starrer Vedhalam. Tamannah is paired opposite Chiranjeevi in this film which has Keerthy Suresh playing the star hero's sister.
