Highway Love: What would Ritvik Sahore do if he was stuck on a highway?

Highway Love is a new web series starring Ritvik Sahore and Gayatri Bharadwaj that seems to be winning hearts. Ritvik, who is one of the protagonists of the show, reveals why he signed on to do a romantic comedy.

As an audience member, Ritvik loves to watch good rom-coms, and as an actor, he was thrilled with the story of Highway Love. 

The actor said, "When I read the script (of the show), I had a smile on my face. It was something that I wanted to be a part of. Of course, when I met the entire team, it was just amazing."

Ritvik was impressed with the vision that the makers had for the show, and as an actor, he was looking for such an opportunity. It all made for the perfect reason to get on board.  

The story Highway Love revolves around two youngsters, Kartik (played by Ritvik) and Inaaya (played by Gayatri), and what happens when they get stuck on a highway.

Asked how he would respond if he got stuck on a highway in real life, like his character does in the show, Ritvik said, "I think I will do the same thing as I do in the show, since even I don’t know how to fix a tyre. Although now I do know how to do that with the help of Gayatri. So, yes, in real life, I would also look for some help."

The five-episode web series is now streaming on Amazon miniTV.
