Hina Khan treats fans to Country of Blind teaser on her birthday – all you need to know about the film

Hina Khan has unveiled the teaser of her upcoming film, Country of Blind. She did so on her birthday, as a treat to her fans. Her film will release only in the US and it is the same movie whose poster the actress had unveiled during her debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Back then, Hina left everyone in awe of her fashionable debut at the festival. The movie promises to be a cinematic experience that could touch hearts.

When will the film release?

Country of Blind is slated to have an International release in the US. The film will be out on October 6 and Hina, in her post, has promised to share the list of theatres where the viewers can watch the movie in theatres. Country of Blind is shot in Kashmir, which also happens to be Hina Khan’s hometown.

What is it about?

The film is based on H.G. Well’s short story which talks about how a community strives in isolation from the outside world. It is about a devastating disease that causes blindness among people of the community. Not just them, the new generation is also born without having the gift of an eyesight. Of course, Hina also plays a visually impaired woman in the film.

The cast and crew

The Rahhat Shah Kazmi directorial stars Hina Khan and Shoib Nikash Shah in the lead roles. It also features Inaamulhaq, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Anushka Sen, Namita Lal, Mir Sarwar, Jitendra Rai, Ahmer Haider and Hussein Khan. Apart from helming the project, Rahhat has also penned the script of the film. He is also producing the project in association with Tariq Khan, Zeba Sajid, Namita Lal, Jayant Jaiswal, Jitendra Rai and Ahmer Haider.
