Hit 2 OTT release date: When and where to watch Adivi Sesh, Meenakshii Chaudhary's thriller

Hit 2 a.k.a Hit: The Second Case, the second instalment to the action thriller franchise Hit, featuring Adivi Sesh and Meenakshii Chaudhary in lead roles, made it to theatres today i.e. December 2. Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film was produced by prominent costume designer Prashanti Tipirneni and presented by Nani under Wall Poster Cinema. The thriller garnered impressive reviews upon release and is expected to be a profitable venture for all the parties involved.

Noted streaming platform Amazon Prime Video has acquired the OTT rights of Hit 2. While the OTT giant hasn't announced the premiere date yet, Hit 2 is expected to arrive on the streamer in the last week of December or the early half of January 2023. Komalee Prasad, Suhas, Geetha Bhascker, Maganti Srinath, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani and others also essay important roles in the film. MM Sreelekha and Suresh Bobbili have composed the songs and S Manikandan is the cinematographer.

The story of Hit 2 revolves around Krishna Dev a.k.a KD, a cop who takes his profession seriously but also underestimates the intelligence of criminals. He’s in a relationship with a boutique owner Aarya, who also works with a women welfare organisation. However, when KD investigates the death of Sanjana, a small-time worker at a bar, who’s ruthlessly chopped into pieces, he faces the biggest conflict in his career while the criminal outsmarts him at every step.

John Stewart Eduri is behind the film's background score. Sachin Sudhakaran (Sync Cinema) takes care of sound design. Krishna Kanth is the sole lyricist and Sunil Rodrigues, Venkat, Naba, Real Sathish are the stunt directors. S Venkatarathnam (Venkat) is the executive producer.
