Nani is at the peak of his career with consecutive hits, and he is now gearing up for his next big project, HIT 3, which is set to release on May 1, 2025. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the third installment of the HIT franchise promises to offer unique elements that will leave the audience thoroughly impressed.
Nani's take on making HIT a massive franchise
In a recent conversation with Anupama Chopra, Nani shared his grand vision for the HIT series, revealing plans to turn it into an Avengers-style franchise. "We are ready with the third installment, and our goal is to expand HIT into a multi-language franchise. In every language, a popular star will lead the film, and eventually, we plan to bring them all together in a massive crossover project," Nani explained.
The HIT franchise has already seen different lead actors. Vishwak Sen starred in HIT Part 1, while Adivi Sesh took over Part 2. In Bollywood, Rajkumar Rao played the lead in the Hindi adaptation. Now, with HIT 3, Nani himself steps into the lead role for the Telugu version.
Speaking about his character and the film’s narrative, Nani said, "HIT 3 starts as a standard investigative thriller, but as the story unfolds, it transitions into a high-intensity action film. I can confidently say that HIT 3 is the most violent and mass-appealing film in the franchise. Audiences will see me in a completely new avatar."

Sailesh Kolanu directs HIT 3
Director Sailesh Kolanu, who previously directed Saindhav with Venkatesh, is returning with HIT 3 after taking a break following Saindhav's underwhelming box-office performance. Nani, who is also producing the film, stated that a significant budget has been allocated to ensure top-tier production values. "HIT 3 is on par with Bollywood films in terms of scale and visuals," he added.
The film marks the Telugu debut of actress Srinidhi Shetty, who plays a crucial role. There is also speculation that Adivi Sesh might make a cameo appearance. When asked about HIT 4's lead actor, Nani teased, "You’ll have to watch the film to find out!". Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
