HIT 3: Nani takes bold step, forgoes fee for massive backend profits

HIT 3 is one of the most anticipated films this summer, featuring Nani in the lead role. Not only is he playing the protagonist, but he’s also producing the project on a grand scale. Interestingly, Nani, who usually charges between Rs 18 to 20 crore per film, has chosen not to take any remuneration for HIT 3. This strategic move helped him keep the production budget under Rs 60 crore. Instead of spending on his fee, most of the budget has been allocated to high-end technicians and post-production, ensuring top-tier visual quality.

Sources close to the film reveal that Nani has made a smart business move—he plans to release the film himself in select regions. If the movie becomes a hit, this decision could earn him massive profits. Given that his last two films grossed over Rs 100 crore each and brought in solid returns, expectations for HIT 3 are sky-high.

The HIT franchise already enjoys strong popularity, and with Nani donning the role of a cop for the first time, buzz around the film is intense. The film needs to collect around Rs 35 crore to break even, which seems achievable considering the hype in the Telugu states.

Sailesh Kolanu makes a comeback with HIT 3

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu in a slick and intense style, the film also features Adivi Sesh in a cameo, reprising his role from HIT 2. Nani plays the role of Arjun Sarkaar and has teased that he’s experimented with a very different performance style this time around.

HIT 3 also marks the Telugu debut of Srinidhi Shetty, who plays a crucial role and is reportedly central to the film's crime plot. She has pinned high hopes on making a mark in Telugu cinema with this action drama.
