Days before Kiccha Sudeep headed to Bengaluru to begin work on his next film, Billa Ranga Baashaa, which went on floors on April 16, the actor was in Hyderabad, during which time he met his Eega co-star Nani. The Telugu star, who is currently in the midst of promoting his upcoming release, HIT 3, which is his first cop thriller, spoke about the special bond he shares with Sudeep in a promotional video for Saregama Kannada.

“Sudeepanna is family for me. I met him the night before he left to Bengaluru to start BRB (Billa Ranga Baashaa). Priya and Sanvi are also like family. If you see the HIT 3 trailer and pay attention, when the title comes up and I am shown cutting someone’s throat, there is a female voice humming that’s used in the background music. That is Sanvi,” revealed Nani.

The actor added that he’s a huge fan of Sanvi’s voice. “She’s amazing. Every time I meet them for dinner or something, my first request will be for her to sing. I give her a karaoke mike and then ask her to sing,” said Nani, adding that Sudeep is extremely excited about HIT 3, which makes him happy. “He told me that he asked his friends to watch the HIT 3 trailer and on the release day, he wants to organize a show for them in Bengaluru. He’s shown so much love for the film, I really hope it lives up to his expectations,” he said.

Nani and his co-star, KGF-fame Srinidhi Shetty will head to Bengaluru shortly for promotions, during which time he hopes to meet Max actor Sudeep. “He’s always been extremely supportive. In fact, after Eega, for some time we weren’t in touch, but then we got back strong and since then if he’s in Hyderabad, he messages and we catch up and each time he shows me something, a teaser or trailer that he’s working on. He gets very excited about work; he doesn’t talk about anything other than cinema. I love him and look forward to what he thinks of HIT 3,” said the actor.
