HIT - The First Case release date: Where to watch Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra’s film on OTT after its theatrical run

HIT - The First Case is gearing up for its big screen release this Friday and fans have a lot to look forward to in the film. The film will see Rajkummar Rao take on another intense and thrilling role. The film also features Sanya Malhotra as the female lead, reuniting with Rajkummar on screen after their stint in 2020’s Ludo. The upcoming movie is the Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu film of the same name. The fact that Sailesh Kolanu, who helmed the original, is back in the director’s chair for the remake is also something which have gotten fans talking. For viewers who are not able to witness the thrill ride unfold on the big screen, the film will soon make its way onto a popular OTT platform after its theatrical run.

The film’s streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix, and the movie will start streaming on the platform after its theatrical run. An OTT release date for the film is yet to be announced.

The upcoming movie follows the story of Vikram, a police officer suffering from PTSD who is tasked with investigating the case of a missing woman. Rajkummar stars as Vikram, while Sanya essays the role of his love interest Neha. In addition to Rajkummar and Sanya, the upcoming thriller also features Shilpa Shukla, Sanjay Narvekar,Milind Gunaji ,Dalip Tahil and Jatin Goswami in pivotal roles.The film is produced under the banners of Dil Raju Production and T-Series.

The film is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name, which starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles. The Telugu film is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The Telugu film also spawned a standalone sequel titled HIT: The Second Case, scheduled for release on July 29.
