Rajkummar Rao tackles post-traumatic stress disorder as skeletons from his past are unveiled in the latest released trailer, HIT – The First Case. HIT, which is translated as ‘Homicide Investigation Team,’ actually has many meaning in this trailer. Our lead character works for this organization, handles a case where the girl has been hit with a drug, he himself is hit by post-traumatic stress disorder and eventually, a gun.

Entering as an officer who tackles stress and deals with it by smoking a cigarette, Rajkummar’s character Vikram is pretty interesting. He examines various items and comes across something fishy. That is when it revealed that he deals with post-traumatic stress.

While Vikram deals with the case, the love of his life Neha (Sanya Malhotra) goes missing too. This man, who is already dealing with a lot of stress, does not know how long can he handle the situation he is in.

Shilpa Shukla also comes back with this movie. She is seen as one of the antagonists who has to deal with Vikram. Rather, Vikram has to deal with her and it is not a pretty sight.

Dalip Tahil, last seen in Toolsidas Junior, is also back in this trailer. He has rather brief appearances but manages to make just the right impact nonetheless.

Milind Gunaji plays the lead antagonist in the film. However, in one scene, he is seen with Vikram, as the officer fights the evil. So, is this character really evil or just too smart?

HIT – The First Case, helmed by Dr. Sailesh K, promises to be high on action and car chases too. The movie also stars Sanjay Narvekar in a pivotal role.

This film is slated to release in theatres on July 15. It will start streaming on Netflix post its release. However, the OTT release date for it has not yet been announced.
