Hoichoi releases exciting 2026 lineup: Mimi Chakraborty's Queens, Saswata Chatterjee's Roktofolok, and more

Hoichoi is starting 2026 with an ambitious slate of 12 web shows, which will combine the return of popular franchises with new original stories. The line-up, which is a mix of thrillers, socially relevant dramas, folkloric narratives, and investigative stories, reflects the platform's continued focus on reimagining the genre, diversity, and emotional depth of Bengali storytelling. From Mimi Chakraborty's Queens to Saswata Chatterjee's Roktofolok, several Bengali web series are coming on Hoichoi. 

Hoichoi slate 2026

Queens

Directed by Nirjhar Mitra, Queens stars Mimi Chakraborty in the lead role. On the day of a lavish wedding, death strikes the Sarkar family. This sudden death, marked as an accident, leaves the four widows alone against a powerful alliance. Grief turns to anger as they decide to seek revenge rather than surrender.

Adalat O Ekti Meye

Starring Koushani Mukherjee, the show is directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee. A successful corporate leader's world is turned upside down after an unexpected betrayal at work. While she seeks justice, hidden agendas and false appearances have turned her fight into a dangerous game of power.

Goyenda Aditya Majumdar

Directed by Aritra Sen, it stars Parambrata Chattopadhyay. A mysterious lift accident at the Chowdhury mansion brings investigator Aditya Majumdar to the scene. As events spiral toward murder and disappearance, a hidden design of deception is slowly revealed.

Roktofolok

Roktofolok stars Saswata Chatterjee, and it is directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay. An ancient curse is resurrected after a sacred artefact is lost, causing terror in modern times. Called upon once again, Agambagish must stop a reincarnated evil before history repeats itself.

Kuheli

Kuheli stars Ridhima Ghosh, Susmita Dey, and Angana Roy, and it is directed by Aditi Roy. The shocking death of a popular ACP rattles Kuheli. As the investigation deepens, long-suppressed resentments and complex relationships are uncovered, revealing a city full of purpose.

Thakumar Jhuli

Starring Srabanti Chatterjee, Thakumar Jhuli focuses on a high-profile wedding that turns deadly, forcing a sharp-minded widow to confront a mystery she thought she had left behind, and secrets meant to stay buried.

Birangana 2

It stars Sandipta Sen. Season 2 will follow Inspector Chitra Basu, who returns to track a ruthless serial killer rooted in patriarchal power, even as a secret from her husband’s past threatens to derail her mission.

Eken Babu — Purulia-e-Pakrao

Starring Anirban Chakrabarti, Eken Babu's cultural event in Purulia takes a dark turn when a mysterious theft and murder uncover a conspiracy involving a legendary emerald and a high-value medical project.

Montu Pilot 3

Montu Pilot 3 stars Saurav Das, Solanki Roy, and others. Montu thought he had left the red-light district behind. But when a new force rises, and someone from his past is resurrected, he is forced to navigate a world of danger, betrayal, and old secrets.
