Hoichoi webseries Subharambha’s trailer unveiled

The streaming platform Hoichoi has unveiled the trailer of its latest Bengali web series, Subharambha. The web show stars Jasmine Roy, Satyam Bhattacharya and Dibyasha Das in the lead roles.

Subharambha revolves around Shubhomita (Jasmine) and Mainak (Satyam), who belong to two different sections of society. While Shubhomita is an independent musician, Mainak is a dentist. The one thing that connects them is music, which is also the biggest part of the trailer. Interestingly, Mainak is also Shubhomita’s childhood admirer. Will their love story have a happy ending, is what the show would explore.

Jasmine is a television actress who gained popularity through TV shows like Bhakter Bhagaban Shri Krishna and Trinayani. On the other hand, Satyam is a popular face on OTT. He was seen in Gumnaami and played the role of an Army major in Nirontor.

Subharambha is directed by Abhijit Chowdhury, who has been associated with HoiChoi since 2018. He had also helmed the short film Mithye, which was released on the platform.

The show is written by Arkadeep Nath and its music is composed by Kuntal De, Debanjan Dhar and Navonil Bhattacharya.

Kuntal De has worked on various songs in the past, namely Toke Ki Namey Daki, Abhimani, Ami Montu Pilot. He had also collaborated with HoiChoi for their previous web series, The Nightwatchman, for which he composed the track Benche Thak.

Subharambha will start streaming on Hoichoi from May 7 and will be available to all viewers for free.
