Holi Party: Ritabhari Chakraborty celebrates Holi with Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi

Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Holi party is known for its grandeur. This year, Ritabhari Chakraborty, along with her sister Chitrangada Shatarupa and her husband Sambit, celebrated Holi at Akhtar-Kazmi’s party in Mumbai. Ritabhari took to her social media to share the moments from the colour-drenched party. 

Ritabhari and Chitrangada were spotted in salwar kameez. Ritabhari also draped a multicolour dupatta. Along with a series of photos, including one with Javed Akhtar, she wrote, “Definitely one of the most special Holi ❤️ Biggest highlight was talking and listening to Javed Akhtar sir for hours and knowing his love for our book fair, Sunil Gangopadhyay, Bengali language l, roots and so on at his residence. What a beautiful and warm Holi the Akhtar’s and Azmi’s host. Seeing Sambit play on the stage with Nikhita Gandhi while my sister and I and my loved ones got mad with Abir in the morning at Dunkfest was so so perfect too.”

Chitrangada’s husband and musician Sambit Chatterjee performed at the party with Nikita Gandhi. Ritabhari also shared a video on her social media.

Meanwhile, Shabana Azmi shared of photograph of her with Farhan Akhtar – both smeared in gulal. In the photo, the actress looks perfect in a white kurti, beads necklace, and multicoloured turban. Farhan looks dapper in a white kurta – a Holi staple.
