The joy of the festival can not be the same when you're far away from your family, while The Home Alone film series has proved that it could be adventurous though.

Kevin and his careless McCallister family.

While the first part of the film introduced us to Kevin and the careless McCallister family, the second part took it to the next level.

While in the first instalment the kid gets left in his own house, the second one takes him to the biggest city in the world and that too alone.

Comedy, drama, action and celebration in one film.

Home Alone 2 is definitely a fun Christmas movie with a lot of comedy, drama, action and celebration. First of all, the makers have done a fabulous job in making the film a comedy out of a serious situation. With a lot of punches and perfect comic timing, Home Alone 2 makes for a hilarious film. One of Kevin’s actions that makes the audience burst into laughter is when he realises that he has not landed in Miami with his family but in New York City all by himself, while at the beginning he can be seen scared with the fact, he soon perceives that it’s an opportunity for him.

The positive and moral message

The film has been seen giving a lot of good messages including how friendship is important, how appearances can be delusional, how every stranger is not bad but some tries to help you as well. Kevin found all of the qualities in his new friend, the Pigeon Lady, whom he met at the famous Central Park of NYC.

A responsible kid.

The film becomes an adventure when Kevin encounters the bandit duo in the stranger city, who tried to rob his house last Christmas when the kid was left alone in the house by his family. In Home Alone 2, he takes the charge to not let them rob the toy store of Mr Dunkin, who is saving all his earning for the children’s hospital.

All’s well that ends well

Kevin’s family arrive in the Big Apple, while the fearless kid sees his mother under the giant Christmas tree as soon as he wishes for the same. The end is indeed happy and joyful, where the whole McCallister family celebrates Christmas together with lots and lots of gifts that were sent by Mr Dunkin as the thank you note to Kevin for saving his store from the thieves.
