Hollywood star Gerard Butler is the latest to join the high-profile fan club of India's global hit RRR. Written and directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead. Powered by an unrepresented word of mouth the film has found massive success with the Hollywood crowd.
Gerard was obviously bitten by the RRR bug as he spoke about the film during one of his latest interviews with a lot of excitement. "I have not seen RRR yet. But, I have seen a couple of trailers of RRR. And it looks insane from every aspect like action and mythology. And it seems to have encapsulated everything in and it has a great buzz about it. It's interesting that it's getting a lot of respect here. I'm reading a lot about it. It's one of the top films of the year. A lot of people are speaking very highly about it. And as you know I have a big attachment to India so that makes me very, very happy," said Gerard, who is busy promoting his upcoming film Plane.
The Scottish-born actor has several Hollywood blockbusters to his credit, including P.S. I Love You, The Ugly Truth, 300 and Olympus Has Fallen.
