December has never been better for Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, who featured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and even posed with his family with his star. The actor, who instantly rose to fame with the Christmas classic, Home Alone series shared a proud moment with his on-screen mom Catherine O’Hara. The emotional reunion between the duo sent the internet on a nostalgia trip in Friday event.

Emotional moment for Macaulay Culkin family

The recognition ceremony was special for musician and actor Culkin for multiple reasons. It was one of those rare moments when his family and children made their first-ever public appearance together. The 43-year-old actor attended the event with his fiancee Brenda Song, along with toddler Carson and 2-year-old Dakota. The adorable family also posed for the media and the heartwarming speech was a treat to the ears.

Macauley Culkin, who played the iconic character of Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone movies also reunited with his onscreen mom, played by O’Hara. The actress gave a touching speech and also expressed gratitude for sharing the joyous moment. "Home Alone was, is, and always will be a beloved global sensation ... the reason families all over the world can't let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin. Thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion,” the actress said.
