After an eventful, Independence Day week, the third week of August brings upon new and exciting titles on the leading OTT platforms. This week there are only a few titles that will be streaming and they are mainly Hindi film 200 Halla Ho, Malayalam movie #Home, Hindi web series Cartel, English miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers to name a few.

200 Halla Ho - August 20 (ZEE5)

Inspired by true events, the film narrates the powerful tale of 200 women who fought against the indifference towards years of caste oppression and injustice.

#Home - August 19 (Amazon Prime)

The film is about a humble but technologically-challenged old man, Oliver (essayed by Indrans), who tries constantly to keep up the closeness with his two sons, who are hooked to social media like any other millennial. #Home focuses on a socially relevant and relatable theme with a light-hearted and beautiful narrative.

Annette - August 20 (Amazon Prime)

Set in Los Angeles, today, Annette is about a stand-up comedian with a fierce sense of humor who falls in love with Ann (Marion Cotillard), a world-renowned opera singer. They form a passionate and glamorous couple under the spotlight. However, the birth of their first child, Annette, a mysterious little girl with an exceptional destiny, turn their lives upside down.

Becky - August 20 (BookMyShow Stream)

The film is about a teenager's weekend at a lake house with her father. However, their stay takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts wreaks havoc on their lives.

Cartel - August 19 (ALTBalaji/MX Player)

The web series is about a gangland comprising of Khan, Anna, Gajraj, Angre, and a mysterious bookie-cum-movie producer who are the low-profile mafias in the city of dreams. These five powerful gangs have survived the underworld without a fuss only due to one iron lady, Rani Mai for years. But, what will happen when Rani Mai is on her deathbed?

Space Jam: A New Legacy - August 19 (BookMyShow Stream)

Sweet Girl - August 20 (Netflix)

Starring Jason Momoa in the lead role, his character loses the love of his life to a pharmaceutical company's greed. This also left his daughter without a mother and he's out to seek justice.
