The much-loved comedy kids film Home Alone is back to tickle your funny bones and prove that you cannot mess with a child. Home Sweet Home Alone will release on Disney+ next month exclusively. Based on the 1990 film Home Alone, the film is about Max Mercer, a 12-year-old boy who is left alone at home after his family forgets to take him along on their trip to Japan. Max is seen rejoicing the fact that he has the entire home all for himself until some intruders arrive to rob them. Now, he must work to defend his home.

The makers dropped a trailer of the film today. The video promises a complete entertainer and a laughter riot with funny dialogues and scenes. The mischievous 12-year-old will be played by Archie Yates of Jojo Rabbit fame. He will be replacing the original star Macauley Culkin in the movie. The members of the cast include Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney,  Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell.

The latest instalment to the Christmas film franchise is said to always have had a plan to release on the site. According to cinemablend.com, when the film was announced in 2019, Bob Iger had said that the movie will be easily available for families to watch (and later rewatch) midway through the windy month.

Disney posted the poster of the film on social media and captioned: "No parents? No problem! @HomeAloneMovie, an original movie, starts streaming Disney+ Day, November 12 only on @DisneyPlus. #HomeSweetHomeAlone."

The film, written by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell, will release on Disney+ on November 12, 2021.
