In today's time, living with not-so technologically sound parents and grandparents can be irritating and annoying. That's what is addressed in the trailer of the Amazon Prime Video's upcoming Malayalam family drama #Home. The anticipated light-hearted film stars Indrans, Sreenath Bhasi, Vijay Babu, Manju Pillai, Neslin, Kainakary Thankaraj, KPAC Lalitha and Srikanth Murali among others. #Home is set to premiere globally and exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on August 19.

The intriguing trailer begins with a discussion between a father and a son, where Indrans’ Oliver Twist asks his younger son to teach him the tech lingos and how to use the social media sites like Instagram, Facebook and others. His son brushes him off saying he's busy. The technology-challenged father wants to learn the technology to be able to connect with his growing up sons, one of whom is a filmmaker. Oliver can be seen seeking out help from other people too. The #Home trailer is surely delightful to watch and will surely remind you of your technology-challenged parents or grandparents as well.

One of the fans took the trailer announcement on Twitter and captioned, “you don’t wanna miss the chance to be a part of the journey of this home. #HomeOnPrime, this Aug 19 (sic).”

Veteran actor Indrans talked about the film and said in a statement, “I could completely relate to Oliver’s character. Just like him, I am not comfortable with technology and social media in real life. What really appealed to me about #Home is that it highlights the generation gap between parents and their children.”

Helmed by writer-director Rojin Thomas, #Home is being produced by Vijay Babu.
