Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram Story and reacted to the news that Homebound has been officially chosen as India's entry for the Oscars 2026. She wrote, "Congratulations to the entire team!! This is so special ..Fingers and toes crossed."

About Homebound
Homebound is based on a real-life story about two childhood friends, Chandan (Vishal Jethwa) and Shoaib (Ishaan Khatter), from rural North India who dream of becoming police officers.
