After receiving a standing ovation at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, Homebound has now been chosen as India's official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 2026 Academy Awards (Oscars 2026). Homebound is all set to hit cinemas on September 26. As the film has been chosen for the Oscars 2026, here's how celebrities reacted to the news.
Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram Story and reacted to the news that Homebound has been officially chosen as India's entry for the Oscars 2026. She wrote, "Congratulations to the entire team!! This is so special ..Fingers and toes crossed."
