Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar's respective production houses, Excel Media and Tiger Baby, are making their Netflix debuts with Eternally Confused and Eager for Love. The show is a comedy-drama created and directed by Rahul Nair about an uncomfortable 24-year-old named Ray who navigates through life with the help of his "inner voice."

During an interaction with ANI, Farhan expressed his enthusiasm for the series, saying that Eternally Confused and Eager for Love has always struck us at Excel as a story with a lot of heart. One of the key reasons they were excited about this opportunity was that everyone involved in the project had demonstrated incredible passion and enthusiasm.

The actor-filmmaker continued by saying that Ray's life is a mash-up of experiences they have all had with individuals in their lives; it's a universal feeling. They thought the narrative would resonate with audiences all over the world because it is also funny in all the right ways.

Eternally Confused and Eager for Love, according to Zoya, is an honest, genuine, and hilarious bag of surprises. She stated that they were immediately taken to Ray after hearing his story. Every generation struggles with love, and the millennials are no exception. Anyone who has tried to navigate through their twenties has always had a little bit of Ray in them. They had no choice but to accompany him on his voyage because his perplexity was so familiar to them.

"Eternally Confused and Eager for Love is a labour of love," remarked Ritesh Sidhwani, Producer of Excel Entertainment, earlier when asked about the show's inception. The producer shared that Rahul Nair has captured the realism and humour of what most of today's young people face; it also has a lot of heart, and it signals the start of their partnership with Netflix. They are excited about sharing our work with the service's worldwide audience.

The show stars Vihaan Samat, Rahul Bose, Suchitra Pillai, Jim Sarbh, Ankur Rathee, and Dala, among others, and will premiere on March 18.
