Honeymoon Express has created a good buzz with its promos and posters. Also, the four songs composed by Kalyani Malik have become solid hits with listeners. Well, the time has come for the teaser of the film to be released, and none other than Amala Akkineni did the honors.
The film is about a young couple, played by Chaitanya Rao and Hebah Patel, who are poles apart in nature and forced into an arranged marriage. The chemistry between Hebah Patel and Chaitanya looks interesting and the one-liners of the couple pulling each other have been showcased in a hilarious manner.
Bala Rajasekharuni has directed this film and has been working in the US for a long time. Speaking about his journey at the teaser launch, the debut director said that it was Amala and Nagarjuna who brought him back and made him the dean of Annapurna College of Film & Media in Annapurna Studios. There, he learned the art and directed his first film, Honeymoon Express.
Tanikella Bharani and Suhasini play crucial roles in this film, which is based on a seven-day trip the couple takes to set their marriage right. The teaser showcases a few thrills and gives the idea that the film also has spooky moments. Honeymoon Express is a big project for Chaitanya Rao, and his role suits his image quite well.
For Hebah Patel, too, Honeymoon Express is a comeback vehicle after doing some bad films as the lead. Jointly produced by KKR & BalaRaj, under the banner of New Reel India Entertainments, ‘Honeymoon Express is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on June 21st.
The makers will hold a grand pre-release event in the days to come, and Nagarjuna is expected to grace the event. Post-production is happening at a brisk pace in Hyderabad, and the trailer of the film will also be released very soon. Watch this space for more updates.
