Horogouri Pice Hotel: Rahul Majumder to bid adieu to the serial

Horogouri Pice Hotel started its journey by the end of 2022. The serial, made by Jisshu U Sengupta Production, did fairly well and remained on the TRP list. People loved Rahul and Subhasmita in the lead roles. The mega crossed 500 episodes at the beginning of June. But there is bad news for the fans of Shankar and Aishani. 

Rahul Mazumder, who plays Shankar in the serial, is leaving the project. He told this to Hindustan Times Bangla, “I did many serials, but Horogouri is close to my heart and so is Shankar. But the story will move forward fifteen years. I don't want to play an aged father right now.” 

In this twist, Dhriti, the daughter of Shankar and Aishani, will be the protagonist. The production house honored Rahul's decision. Sources say that in the future, both Shankar and Aishani will be shown as dead. Subhasmita Mukherjee will play Dhriti. 

Rahul became emotional to talk about his work experience at Horogouri Pice Hotel. 'It was wonderful. Shankar will stay with me forever and I will miss him. Some more days of shooting are due. Jisshu da and Nilanjanadi are unparalleled as producers. They protect everyone.' 

Who will be Dhriti's hero? Gourab Ghosh’s name was on the air. Gourab was the hero in Ranga Bou. But the news might not be true. The production house has not yet finalized the name. The channel also did not confirm anything. 

Sources, on the other hand, say that Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha, a Magic Moments Production serial, will end this month.
