It begins with a meta and quirky future, in which people are celebrating Vijayanth Jayanthi, Sivakarthikeyan is the chief minister, and Vijay Sethupathi is the opposition leader. A man says to Ashwin Kumar that he will sleep if he doesn't like the story, taking a dig at Ashwin Kumar himself. The scene shifts to how youngsters of the house question the responsibilities of elders at home, and various other topics like DINK and live-in. The trailer ends with how the producer wants to make this as a film, invite other filmmakers to watch it and force them to give a good review, in order to 'scam' the people.
