Vignesh Karthick, who relies on shock values and concepts that defy social construct, made a follow-up his 2024 film Hot Spot. Titled Hotspot 2 Much, it is also a hyperlink film which has multiple segments and one overall story that connects them. In the sequel, there are three segments, which talks about the toxic fan culture, right to dress, and a love story that connects a couple over a call.
Out of the three, those who watched the film pick the third story as their favourite and best out of the lot. The segment features Ashwin Kumar and Bhavani Sre in the lead roles, and show them as a couple who fall in love with each other after getting connected through a phone call accidentally. But there is a catch when the lovers cannot meet each other. Eventually when they do, the relationship between them shocks the couple.
Those who watched the film said that the third part, titled ‘Yours Lovingly, Love’ was written the best and staged well. Bhavani Sre and Ashwin Kumar’s performances were appreciated too.
