HBO has renewed House of the Dragon for a second season, which premiered its first episode on August 21. The Game of Thrones prequel series takes place 127 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. The show follows the unfolding drama that threatens to tear the kingdom apart as members of the Targaryen family compete for the iron throne. As her political opponents close in on her, Rani faces an even more formidable challenge from Bheem (Sohum Shah), her husband and former state chief minister.
