Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 will hit theaters on June 6. Ahead of it, CBFC asked the makers to change some words, visuals in the film.

Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 5 is one of the most-awaited films of 2025. The trailer of the film has already created significant buzz on social media. Housefull 5 received a UA certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), but now CBFC has asked for some changes, as per a new report.
CBFC changes for Housefull 5
Bollywood Hungama reported that Housefull 5, which passed with a U/A 16+ certificate, received some modifications demands from the CBFC. Talking about audio cuts, the dialogue 'nikal dungi' was modified. Another dialogue starting with 'apne' was also asked to be modified. The words 'item' and 'haram' were replaced with suitable terms. On the other hand, a dialogue at 1 hour and 53 minutes was asked to be removed.
Not only these, but also three visual cuts were given to the film. The cut list mentioned that a scene of ‘champagne comming’ was reduced. Two scenes of hand gestures were 'suitably modified'. Lastly, a scene of 'sensual visuals' was reduced by 2 seconds. Thus, 11 seconds of footage were censored.
The report also mentioned that both versions of the film have the same runtime and which is 165.48 minutes. In other words, Housefull 5 is 2 hours 45 minutes and 48 seconds long.

Meanwhile, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 6, 2025. Housefull 5 is expected to be filled with comedic situations and memorable characters.
