Housefull 5 director Tarun Mansukhani recently discussed his career in film and the influence of Shah Rukh Khan on his style of filmmaking in relation to his upcoming project.
Mansukhani discussed his early career in filmmaking with associate director and assistant roles on numerous Shah Rukh Khan hits in an interview with Galatta India. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) were among these.
Mansukhani remembered Khan's constant commitment while filming. He remarked that with the superstar, the scene is never incomplete. The filmmaker went on to say that SRK wasn't one to behave solo. Mansukhani witnessed him swiftly gathering chairs and assisting with the wrapping of shoots as the rain loomed on the horizon. To get things done efficiently, SRK would act like an assistant director.
According to Mansukhani, Shah Rukh is so integrated into the staff that it is impossible to tell him apart from the rest. His humour is contagious, and what's even more important is that he never stops teaching you something new.

Mansukhani was profoundly affected by one particular lesson that Khan imparted. The superstar gave the filmmaker some advice right before he started filming Dostana (2008), and he still takes it to heart. His words to Mansukhani were, "What you think is direction, like putting the camera here or setting the shot, is just 1% of filmmaking; 99% of your job is managing people."
Mansukhani elaborated, saying that that became a thumb rule for him, before going on to describe how adopting that frame of mind allowed him to concentrate on the people side of directing, whether it was overseeing production values or directing actors.
The most recent installment in the successful comedy series Housefull 5 is now being directed by Mansukhani. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, and Johnny Lever are all part of the immense ensemble cast of the film.
June 6 is when Housefull 5—produced by Sajid Nadiadwala—is set to hit theatres.
