Bollywood Hungama has now revealed the film's plot, which is sure to boost its buzz. An insider informed the entertainment portal that, as everyone knows, Housefull 5 takes place on a cruise ship. Essentially, it's a murder mystery film and everyone on board the ship is a suspect in a murder that occurred onscreen. In their pursuit of the killer, two of the characters impersonate police officers, and the makers guarantee a lot of laughs and madness.
The recent release of photos from the sets of Housefull 5 with Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff in police uniforms has sparked conjecture about the possible involvement of the two veteran actors as the investigators.
Comparison with Hollywood films
Two Hollywood features from the past few years, Death on the Nile (2022) and Murder Mystery (2019), feature murders that occur aboard a ship. But the insider declared that just like Death on the Nile and Murder Mystery are different from each other, so is Housefull 5. There is a lot of desi-style entertainment that the makers have included. In addition, Housefull 5 will be an exceptionally unique and creative comedy film in Indian cinema because Sajid Nadiadwala is in charge of production.
