Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 has got a new release date. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the comic caper will now hit the big screen on June 6, 2025.

Housefull 5 has been postponed! The film was set to release on Diwali 2024. An official announcement about the same was made by Akshay Kumar. The Khiladi Kumar had announced Housefull 5 earlier this year in June. Now, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has issued a statement and shared the new release date of the comic caper.
The movie, starring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, will now hit the big screen on June 6, 2025. Wondering why the film's release was delayed? Let's find out!
Housefull 5 gets a new release date!
Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 has been postponed due to VFX work. The fifth installment of the comic caper will be helmed by Tarun Mansukhani.
In an official statement, Sajid said, "The Houseful franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we've made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with great cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be releasing on 6th June 2025."
The statement was also shared on Instagram with a caption that read, "5 times the entertainment is on it's way! See you in cinemas on 6th June 2025 (sic)."
About the Housefull franchise
The first Housefull movie was released in 2010. It was helmed by Sajid Khan. Later, it was followed by Housefull 2 in 2012 while the third installment was released in 2016. The fourth part of Housefull in 2019. 6 years later, the fifth part is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2025.
As far as Housefull 5's star cast is concerned, only Akshay and Riteish are confirmed to be a part of it. Interestingly, they've been a part of this franchise for a long time now. The remaining ensemble star cast is yet to be finalised.
