Hridayam song Onakka Munthiri: Pranav, Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer film music is cute and cheerful

The Malayalam film Hridayam has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement. The film, starring Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan is a much-anticipated film for various reasons, one of them being its characters. The characters in the film are said to be drawn from the lives of the film's director and writer Vineeth Sreenivasan and his wife during their college days. The film is a romantic story of a timid and naive man Arun, showcasing his journey from college to life after marriage filled with happiness, friendships, love, deaths, frustration and all that one goes through. Another highlight of the film is its music. 

The makers have now released the third single from the film, Onakka Munthiri and it looks like a fun, cheerful and cute song that is sure to bring a smile to your face with its quirky lyrics and composition. The song chronicles the meet-cute romantic moments between the two. The song is written by Vineeth Sreenivasan and is composed, arranged and programmed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The song is sung by Divya Vineeth.

Actor Pranav Mohanlal took to Instagram to announce the release of the song. He wrote: "Here comes the third song from our movie ‘Hridayam’ titled ‘Onakka Munthiri’ Sung by #DivyaVineeth" (sic)

Kalyani Priyadarshan too shared the post on her Instagram story saying, "Our third song" along with the YouTube link to the music video. 

The film was announced in 2019 and marks the comeback of the production house Merryland Cinemas after three decades. The production house has offered several hits like Snehadeepam, Sree Guruvayoorappan and Sreemurukan. 

Hridayam is all set to release in theatres on January 21, 2022.
