Looks like Mohanlal is set for a terrific 2025 as two of the Malayalam star’s releases, Empuraan and Thudarum, have had a stellar run at the box office. Not just that, the Lucifer star has another big release coming up this year -Hridayapoorvam, directed by the veteran Sathyan Anthikad. Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad wrap up Hridayapoorvam
Mohanlal reunited with Sathyan Anthikad for Hridayapoorvam, after almost ten years. Mohanlal took to social media recently and announced that the upcoming Malayalam film, which also stars Malavika Mohanan, has wrapped up shooting. The star also shared a candid photo of the entire cast and crew, while he wrote in caption: “That’s a wrap! See you on the big screen.”
The film is likely to hit theatres in August as an Onam 2025 release.

Soon after Mohanlal posted the update on social media, netizens too shared their excitement for the upcoming project. Now fans will be keen to teh Malayalam star once again reuniting with his Nadodikkattu director. Fans believe that a Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad film is the perfect Onam watch. They last collaborated on Ennum Eppozhum, which starred Manju Warrier.

Led by Mohanlal, Hridayapoorvam features Malavika Mohanan as the female lead. Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame, Siddique, Baburaj, Lalu Alex, Sabitha, and Sangita Madhavan Nair are also part of the cast in other supporting roles.
Sathyan Anthikad is known for his movies, such as Bhagyadevatha and No. 1 Snehatheeram Bangalore North. As his movies are usually a delightful mix of fun and family drama with the right dose of emotion, Hridayapoorvam is also set to be a complete entertainer.
Hridayapoorvam will be Mohanlal’s third theatrical release this year, after Empuraan and Thudarum, both of which have scripted success at the box office.
