Hridayapoorvam OTT release date: When & where to watch Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad's film online

Mohanlal's most recent film, Hridayapoorvam, will be available to watch online soon. Much to the delight of his fans, it has been confirmed that the feel-good drama, helmed by Sathyan Anthikad, will be streaming on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium from September 26.

Hridayapoorvam OTT release date

It has now been confirmed that the movie will be streaming on the popular OTT platform from 12 am on September 26 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada apart from Malayalam. Meanwhile, the other Onam releases such as Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira and Maine Pyar Kiya are yet to announce their OTT release dates.

The film, which released on big screens worldwide on August 28 during Onam, is making its digital debut after a successful run of 30 days. The producers had already announced that after Hridayapoorvam's theatrical run is over, it will be available for streaming on JioHotstar. The same platform also released Empuraan and Thudarum, two of Mohanlal's earlier flicks from this year.

Hridayapoorvam story and other details

Mohanlal plays Sandeep, a forty-year-old Malayali bachelor who has had heart transplant surgery. He travels to Pune to attend the donor's daughter's engagement ceremony, which sets off a chain of hilarious events. With Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Siddique, Baburaj, Lalu Alex, and Janardhanan in important parts, Malavika Mohanan portrays the film's female protagonist. Since Sathyan Anthikad and Mohanlal are reunited after a ten-year separation, Hridyapoorvam was among Malayalam's highly-anticipated films of 2025. Basil Joseph and Meera Jasmine had made cameo appearances in Hridayapoorvam.

Despite not being an Onam winner in terms of box office earnings, the film received appreciation for its sentimental elements and acting.
