After an impressive 30-day run in theatres across the world from August 28 during Onam, the movie is now making its digital debut. In addition to Malayalam, it is now accessible in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada on both the well-known OTT sites. The film had a fair run in theatres for a month, with a bump around the festive holidays, even though it didn't end up being an Onam winner in terms of revenue at the box office.

The makers had previously declared that Hridayapoorvam would be streamed on JioHotstar following its theatrical run. Two of Mohanlal's other films from this year, Empuraan and Thudarum, were also made available on the same platform. Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, another Onam release, is now accessible on Netflix as of today (September 26). The OTT release dates for the other Onam releases, such Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra and Maine Pyar Kiya, have not yet been disclosed.

All about Mohanlal's latest film, Hridayapoorvam

Sandeep, a 40-year-old Malayali bachelor who went through a heart transplant surgery, is the main character of this movie. A series of amusing incidents begins when he flies to Pune to attend the donor's daughter's engagement ceremony and is injured in the process. The film's female lead is portrayed by Malavika Mohanan, with supporting roles played by Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Siddique, Baburaj, Lalu Alex, and Janardhanan. 

One of the most anticipated Malayalam films of 2025 was Hridyapoorvam, which reunites Sathyan Anthikad and Mohanlal after an interval of ten years. Meera Jasmine and Basil Joseph have also made brief appearances increasing the excitement for the film among the viewers. Sangeeth Prathap and Mohanlal's humorous act adds much more entertainment to this film.
