Hrithik Roshan surprises fans as he visits theatre with Fighter co-stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover.
Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, is doing well at the box office and is predicted to surpass Rs 100 crore by the end of its four-day weekend run. The team recently went to theaters to witness the audience's reactions in real time which turned out to be a sweet surprise for all the fans present at the theatre.
Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi were spotted at a Mumbai theater, while Deepika Padukone was not present. "Fighters Day at the movies," Hrithik captioned with a happy selfie he took with other actors and director, Siddharth Anand.
Fans were thrilled when he and his co-stars made a surprise appearance at the screening. Hrithik thanked the audience for their unwavering love and support for the movie.
Hrithik posted a video of the happy occasion to social media, capturing fans' applause and hooting. The actor wrote in the caption – “And it’s done ! This is why I do what I do. So happy seeing these smiling faces. Thank you so much for all the love! ❤️”
Even though Deepika Padukone wasn't there when they visited the theater, Hrithik Roshan and his co-stars' gesture garnered a lot of favorable comments online. Undoubtedly, it was a delightful surprise for the people at the theater.
According to the reports by Sacnilk, Fighter started with an opening of Rs 22 crore and went on to score Rs 39.5 crore on Friday and Rs 28 crore on Saturday. The movie has made around Rs 90 crore at the box office thus far. Fighter's occupancy rate rose from 17.06 percent for the morning shows to over 33.52 percent for the evening shows. Over the long weekend, more people are anticipated to watch Fighter.
Hrithik Roshan recently chatted with Anil Kapoor at a media event, stating that he had assisted the actor while appearing in numerous of his father's films. Hrithik said he modelled his process of getting into the movies as an actor by watching Anil Kapoor. He referred to himself as a good assistant after spending three to four years in that role. Hrithik even mentioned how much he enjoys switching between the roles of actor and assistant to Siddharth Anand. He said, “As an assistant main aapko dekhta tha (used to watch you), I used to learn and then of course whatever happened in the journey."
