It is no secret that Bollywood stars are often subjected to cyber bullying, and the latest trend that seems to have taken over the Hindi film industry is the unfair call for boycott on theatrical releases.

First, it was Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha on social media that was trensing for the #boycottlaalsinghchaddha hashtag, followed by Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan, and the latest to join the list of big releases being threatened with a boycott is none other than Hrithik Roshan's Vikram Vedha.

The star came on the trolls' radar when he extended his support to Aamir Khan's film, calling it 'beautiful' and how he felt 'the HEART' of the movie, before urging his fans to go watch it in theatres.

"...Watch it. It’s beautiful. Just beautiful," tweeted Hrithik.

And that, apparently, was the trigger that invited trouble for the superstar. A asocial media user mentioned how the 'plus and minuses' are of paramount improtance to Hindus and that the 'bigot' Aamir Khan has abused it. Another user took a dig at one of his older films, saying that people would have listened to him had he asked them to watch Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon: a film that did not do well at the box office at the time but ended up being a huge part of pop culture, thanks to its meme-worthy content.

To make matters worse, one of the users went on to compile a list of hrithik Roshan movies that are scheduled to release in the near future. "You know very well what to do next," wrote that same user, not-so-subtly calling for a ban on all these films.
