Happy Birthday Siddharth Anand! Birthday greetings to this renowned filmmaker of Bollywood movies throng social media today. The latest addition on this list is Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan.
Today, on the occasion of Siddharth’s birthday, Hrithik penned a sweet note for the filmmaker and called him his ‘friend’. “Here’s to a filmmaker, friend and my favourite ‘fighter’ to have creative arguments with. Happy birthday Sid!,” wrote Hrithik on Twitter.
In the post, Hrithik even attached a picture from the set of his upcoming movie, Fighter.
On Instagram as well, Hrithik shared a collage highlighting his and Sidharth’s friendship bond and wrote, “Here’s to a filmmaker, friend and my favourite ‘fighter’ to have creative arguments with. Happy Birthday Sid!! May you keep flying high and soaring the skies. Love you, man.”
Interestingly, Hrithik and Siddharth are working together these days on creating an action movie titled Fighter. In the movie, Hrithik will play a lead role and will feature alongside Bollywood superstars Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
Fighter is slated to be released theatrically next year in January. The exact release date of the movie is not known yet. Excitingly, this film marks Hrithik and Siddharth’s third on-screen collaboration after their two box-office superhits Bang Bang in 2014 and War in 2019.
Siddharth recently rose to fame after he helmed megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller film Pathaan which received great appreciation from audiences and emerged to be an all-time blockbuster. Pathaan even minted over Rs 1,000 crores globally.
In the past, Sidharth has scripted and directed romantic comedy films, including Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Bachna Ae Haseeno, and Anjaana Anjaani. Notably, Siddharth’s father was Bittu Anand, the producer of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan’s Shahenshah.
