Huma Qureshi made her first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. The Bollywood actress had been a regular at the French Riviera until now. This year, the actress couldn't make it to the prestigious film festival. In an interview with Mid-Day, Huma revealed the reason she had to skip Cannes 2024. For those who are unaware, the actress has been busy shooting for Jolly LLB 3 with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. It's because of the film's shoot, she couldn't mark her presence at the Cannes Film Festival.

Speaking with the tabloid, Huma Qureshi said she loves attending the Cannes Film Festival. The actress feels that the French Riviera is not just a glamorous event but also a place of immense learning. Huma added that watching diverse cinema from around the world at the festival helps her evolve as an artist.
However, she wasn't able to attend Cannes 2024 because of Jolly LLB 3's shoot. "At this point, I’m deeply committed to my shoot here. I can’t wait to return to Cannes and immerse myself in its incredible cinematic experience once again," she said.
Huma Qureshi joins Jolly LLB 3
Earlier this month, Huma Qureshi reunited with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi for Jolly LLB 3. The actress will be reprising her character of Pushpa Pandey in the film. She plays the character of Akshay Kumar's wife in the film. Dropping her photos from the film set, the actress wrote, "Pushpa Pandey is backkkkk and looking pretty in Pink JollyLLB3 Clicked by the one and only akshaykumar (sic)."
The first installment of Jolly LLB was released in 2013. Following its success, the sequel hit the big screen in 2017. Seven years later, the makers of this successful franchise are working on the third part.
Huma Qureshi's work front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Huma was last seen in Maharani season 3. The series premiered on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium this year. The actress reprised her role from the previous seasons of the series.
