The second inning can occasionally be more engaging than the first. Esha Deol returned to the big screen with Rudra: The Edge of Darkness last year, and while it's too soon to judge her second acting attempt, the actor is genuinely enjoying this stage and choosing roles that intrigue her. In Hunter: Tootega Nahi, Todega, her most recent series, she portrays an investigative journalist.
Esha stated to Mid Day that she has a complex personality. She's brave, from a tiny village, and when the situation calls for it, she can pull the trigger and execute kicks and punches with equal ease.
Esha found it simple to accept the Suniel Shetty-led series. Instead of playing the glam doll while her leading men beat the bad guys into submission as in her prior works, she tries her hand at action in this series.
The actor has always yearned for action. The chance came via this series. Once the day's shooting was over, performing stunts brought me a new type of joy. I'm looking for a whole action project.
For Esha, finding her niche in the action genre seems all but certain. After all, Dharmendra, her actor father, was the first He-Man in a Hindi film. She concurred that action comes easy to her, too, owing to my mother, just like dance does. The actor has inherited her father's frame, as one can see. Her DNA is that of a dancer and an actor.
She started her career as an actor with Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe (2002) twenty years ago. Esha is happy with how her last tenure turned out, but she is most optimistic about her current run.
The actor is selecting projects that complement her attitude and advance how she wants to be perceived as an actor. What makes her happy right now is a compelling character with the ability to perform.
