Hypnotic trailer: Kate Siegel is a dangerous puppet who loses control of her own mind

Halloween is around the corner and it also means scary horror movies to darken the mood. Hypnotic, starring Midnight Mass star Kate Siegel, will add to the many horror movies that will be coming to the living rooms towards the end of October. 

The trailer for the movie was released by Netflix recently. The movie hints at a narrative that will test the curiosity and nerves of the audience. 

The movie follows a young woman who decides to meet with a hypnotist following the advice of her friend. Looking for self-improvement and help from anxiety, she takes sessions with a mysterious Dr. Meade. 

She soons understands that she has been taken over by the doctor and the movie takes a drak, dangerous and deadly turn for the worse.

Hypnotic is directed by Suzanne Coote and Matt Angel from a script by Richard D'Ovidio. 

Apart from Siegel, the movie also stars Jason O'Mara and Dulé Hill.

Hill plays a cop who is looking to help Siegel's Jenn find freedom from the mind trap that she is in. 

Siegel is enjoying a good run of movies and is slowly turning into a lowkey modern day scream queen. 

The actor has previously collaborated with husband and filmmaker Mike Flanagan in movies and shows suchs as The Haunting of Hill House, Oculus and Midnight Mass.

Hypnotic premieres globally on Netflix on October 27.
