I Am Groot trailer: Vin Diesel as everyone's favourite little tree shows his cute misadventures in upcoming shorts

Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' head of streaming television and animation; Ryan Meinerding, head of visual development; and Kirsten Lepore, writer, director, and executive producer of I Am Groot, were among the panellists during Friday's Marvel Studios Animation Panel, which was moderated by Paul F. Tompkins.

The galaxy cannot be protected from this naughty child! Prepare yourself as Baby Groot steals the spotlight in his very own collection of short films that explore his glory days as a child growing up and getting into mischief among the stars. Baby Groot, everyone's favourite tiny tree, is voiced by Vin Diesel, who also provides the voice of Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy film series and in the five original shorts that make up the collection, I Am Groot.

Each short film follows Baby Groot as he develops throughout the galaxy and embarks on adventures with strange and new individuals who land him in hot water.

It's being said that in the first episode, Baby Groot gathers various artefacts in the Eclector's Quadrant in order to attract the Guardians of the Galaxy, and subsequently sets off an explosion in one of the ship's quarters. After spotting Baby Groot attempting to patch a burst hole, Rocket obtains the artwork. Rocket is nearly dragged out of the ship by another explosion, but Baby Groot manages to save him.

Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, and James Gunn are the executive producers.

On August 10, I Am Groot debuts on Disney+ (Disney+ Hotstar in India), and all five shorts are accessible.
