The actor expressed his joy in being part of the show, stating, "I’m happy to be a part of the journey in which a new artist is born as the Storyteller of 'I-LAND'. The label boasts a roster of diverse artists, including Zion.T, Okasian, Danny Chung (formerly known as Decipher), Jeon Somi, BigBang's Taeyang, LØREN and more. Notably, the label also welcomed actor Park Bo-gum into its ranks, followed by actor Lee Jong Won in 2023.

In April 2023, THEBLACKLABEL forged a strategic partnership with Thailand's largest conglomerate, Charoen Pokphand Group, forming The Black Sea, a joint venture aimed at expanding the label's presence into the Southeast Asian region.
