Vidyut Jammwal’s IB 71 is reaching close to Rs. 20 crores at the Box Office. The movie has almost touched Rs. 18 crores in its 16-day run. It has come close to but is still struggling to earn in crores again on its third Saturday in theatres.

The movie, according to a report on Sacnilk.com, has earned Rs. 85 lakhs on day 16. This takes the film’s collections to Rs. 17.68 crores net.

Made on a budget of Rs. 28 crores, IB 71 is expected to touch Rs. 25 crores at the Box Office, if not surpass it. While the movie has constantly seen some growth over the weekends and it did even on its third Friday but without earning in crores, IB 71 could struggle at the Box Office.

In the month of June, this movie would face competition from the likes of Vicky Kaushal-Sara Ali Khan’s Zara Hathke Zara Bachke, Shahid Kapoor’s Bloody Daddy. Prabhas’ Adipurush, Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan and Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani’s Satyaprem Ki Katha will also release in the same month. Thus, IB 71 can earn the most collections in this week because by next Friday, it is likely to start seeing a drop in screens as well as Box Office.

The movie earned in crores till day 10. On day 11 i.e. on its second Monday, the film minted Rs. 58 lakhs. It then earned Rs. 52 lakhs, Rs. 50 lakhs and Rs. 49 lakhs on days 12-14.

The highest IB 71 has earned so far is on its third day. The film opened to Rs. 1.55 crores collection on its Friday release. On Sunday, it had minted Rs. 3.1 crores. The day two i.e. first Saturday collections of IB 71 were Rs. 2.53 crores.

The movie witnessed its first drop in collections on first Monday. It earned Rs. 1.1 crores. IB 71 minted Rs. 1.06 crores on Tuesday and Rs. 1.02 crores on Wednesday.

The collections dropped on day six, Thursday. The film earned Rs. 0.65 crores on Thursday and Rs. 0.72 crores on Friday. However, the second weekend also worked well for the movie. It earned Rs. 1.11 crores on second Saturday and Rs. 1.5 crores on Sunday.

Thus, the third weekend was the first time when IB 71 did not earn in crores and if even its Sunday collections do not go up to a crore even, the film might struggle to survive in theatres. However, it is going fairly strong even against a movie like The Kerala Story and so, one can only wait and see if the demand for the movie increases in the coming days.
