Vidyut Jammwal’s IB 71 might be earning in lakhs currently but that does not stop the movie from earning nearly Rs. 20 crores. The film will touch the mark and more on day 21. It earned Rs. 19.84 crores net on day 20, according to a report on sacnilk.com.

IB 71 continues to hold its pace even on day 20. The film earned Rs. 42 lakhs at the Box Office, much like day 19. This takes the net collections of the film to Rs. 19.84 crores.

Even if the collections take a drop on day 21, it is unlikely that it would fall below Rs. 20 lakhs. Thus, undoubtedly, the movie will make Rs. 20 crores on day 21.

In fact, IB 71 has already crossed Rs. 25-crore mark worldwide. The film’s gross collections are Rs. 23.5 crores and it earned Rs. 2.1 crores from the overseas market. Thus, the total gross collections of the film worldwide stand at Rs. 25.6 crores on day 20 itself.

After earning in crores till day 10, this film has been dabbling between Rs. 50 lakhs and as much as Rs. 92 lakhs (which it earned on day 17 i.e. its third Sunday). This proves that the movie is holding strong and has footfalls, especially over the weekends.

Here’s the week-wise Box Office collection of IB 71:

Week one – Rs. 11.01 crores

Week two – Rs. 5.44 crores

Week three (six days) – Rs. 3.39 crores

Total – Rs. 19.84 crores

If IB 71 can hold on for just a bit longer, the movie could easily earn Rs. 25 crores net in India before ending its Box Office run. However, with competition from Zara Hathke Zara Bachke, starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, the movie might be ignored. It all depends on how well Zara Hathke Zara Bachke is received at the Box Office and the number of screens it offers the viewers.

If the film crosses Rs. 25 crores, IB 71 could be declared as a hit. The movie is made on a budget of Rs. 28 crores and it can possibly aim to reach there if the upcoming movie isn’t received well. Now it’s just a matter of time before the audiences’ reaction and the film they prefer to watch will be out.
