Vidyut has made his production debut with IB 71

Vidyut Jammwal has turned a producer for the first time with IB 71. The film tells the story of 'true events' that an Indian intelligence agent orchestrated to thwart a Pakistani operation against India on the eastern front during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.
The actor recently talked to OTTplay about what went into making the film, intense research and much more. He also spoke about turning a producer with IB71.
Talking about his reaction after watching the first cut of the trailer, the Junglee actor said, "I have been watching it everyday after we finished shooting it. I was enjoying learning the process. And when I saw the final cut of the trailer, I thought 'aisehi sochi thi'."
Keeping up with the thrill throughout in a film can be quite a task and when asked him about the same, Vidyut revealed, "When you stick to the idea of the story you think okay this can also happen, the truth can be hard but you stick to the story. Also, the ideology of the intelligence bereau so it is thrilling that it will keep you hooked."
When asked how does he feel after turning a producer, Vidyut says, "It's like a progression." He also admitted that he is not interested in taking direction as a job because he believes it demands a lot of discipline and hard work.

During the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971, Dev Jammwal, an Indian intelligence officer played by Vidyut Jammwal, thwarts Pakistan's attempts to assault India's northeast. Pakistan, working closely with China, intends to move fighter jets from West Pakistan to its military installations in East Pakistan. They have to fly over Indian airspace to do this. As news of Pakistan's plans reaches New Delhi, Dev devises a brilliant technique that, if it is carried out, will enable India to block Pakistan's access to its airspace and thwart the assault.
