Ibrahim Ali Khan made his acting debut with Naadaniyan opposite Khushi Kapoor. The film received immense flak for everything it was. Finally, Ibrahim had accepted that the movie was a bad film, but now there are reports that the statement has not gone down well with Karan Johar. Here's everything you need to know...

Even if he tried to defend it for a long time, Ibrahim Ali Khan accepted that his debut film Nadaaniyan was not up to the mark. He had told Esquire India, “I’m just gonna go on record and say that it was a really bad film.” In the same interview, Ibrahim spoke about Mohit Suri's peak fame after Saiyaara release, and how he wishes to go back to Karan Johar and ask for another collaboration. Unfortunately, it appears that KJo might not see things the same way.

Karan Johar unhappy with Ibrahim Ali Khan's statement on Nadaaniyan?

As per a report on Deccan Chronicle, Karan Johar is rather hurt with Ibrahim's statement. The portal quoted a close friend of Karan and said, "Karan is not a stranger to ingratitude. Many of his protegees have turned out to be ungrateful. Karan had promised to launch Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s son and he kept his word. After launching Ibrahim in Nadaaniyan, Karan even followed it up with Sarzameen, although he was advised against doing so. If Ibrahim feels Nadaaniyan was “a really bad film,” why didn’t Sarzameen work?"

Karan Johar and Ibrahim Ali Khan recently seen acting in same web series

Interestingly, Karan Johar as well as Ibrahim Ali Khan were seen acting in the same project recently. This was none other than Aryan Khan's debut directorial series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. While Karan played a very important character in the show, Ibrahim appeared in a fun cameo and was seen having a gala time with the media at the red carpet.

Meanwhile, in case you wish to explore Ibrahim's acting skills in Sarzameen, the same is available on JioHotstar. The same can be streamed via OTTplay Premium.
